Should the CS12 be able to map VST instruments without using Nectarine?
Also, I’m finding I get incorrect displays on the CS12 if I have Nektarine on a track and I use the left/right buttons to move through tracks. The track names seem to get out of sync with the selected track.
CS12 sends MIDI controller data to Cubase. If you define your own MIDI Remote Device in Cubase, you can assign functions to control Cubase or plugins using this data.

To remove the need for Nektarine in controlling VST instruments currently we advise to use the Quick controls in CHANNEL mode.
However, it is possible to map User pages 1 and 2 in CHANNEL mode using MIDI Remote too anything you like too.
