Was curious to know if option to Ctrl + Drag mono file to stereo and vice versa is still possible (drag using another shortcut), or if this can be brought back to Audio Editor.

It works if you select the whole audio range and dragged it while pressing both Alt + Control
Yes, that works, since Ctrl has nothing else assigned, can’t it be just Ctrl+Drag?

Ctrl+Mouse Click was and is for zoom. Ctrl+Alt was and is the shortcut for this.
However, after selecting a range and while dragging, Ctrl converted Mono to Stereo and Vice Versa.
