Ctrl-Shift-Right gets stopped by a tie

I’m setting up a macro to explode, and I’m using Ctrl-Shift-Right arrow to increase the selection one bar at a time.

But in the example below, the key combination is unable to extend the selection beyond the bars shown. I’m assuming it’s because the tie extends into the next bar and fills it completely.

Is this something that can be changed in the future? Thanks.

We’re unlikely to make any tweaks to the current arrow key navigation/selection behaviours in Write mode since we intend to replace that mechanism with a new one in the future.
