Working in Cubase 10.5, went to open song saved in Cubase 10.0.50. Program asked me if “I wanted to activate”, I said “yes”. It loaded the song but wouldn’t play, wouldn’t respond, basically wouldn’t do anything. Nothing. Crashed both versions of the song. Had to restart Cubase. Not 10.5, that one is not ready yet for me to use for normal work with clients. One of the best features of Cubase/Nuendo throughout all these years has been their ability to always open older songs, unlike Logic. I hope this is just a temporary issue.
