cub. 7 artist, static/crackle/pop sounds..

hi,

it seems that where ever i set my latency i will experience static/crackle/pop sounds.

if i click the mouse pointer anywhere around the moving play marker then sometimes the noise appears.

its quite random and does sometime occur when i may be moving a part around in the project.

not sure if this has only been happening since the latest update.

any ideas guys?

Could be the mouse drivers. What brand?

It’s possible that your audio card’s buffer is too slow

I would agree with NWP but it could also be your display drivers
