Cub 8.5 mid file location

CUBASE 8.5.15, Win 7
Hi!
Where does Cubase store mid (midi) files, and where in the manual is there text on exporting midi files? I’m striking out with the manual search function.

I need to some export midi files to the desktop to create attachments to send to a developer for a tech issue with a library.

Cubase doesn’t store midi files. All midi data is part of the project file (cpr)

You can export midi files if you need.

By just dragging & dropping off of the projects drive?

Why not read the page in the manual I pointed you to. It’s fully explained there.

In fact it doesn’t mention drag to desktop which does create a midi file…but I would still advise you read the manual to understand all the options for what is included in the file.
