cubas 7 control pannel don't work

Hi everyone
very new at this
I have cubase 7 (my pc runs windows 7 ultimate 64 bit) and it worked fine
until yesterday, I took my pc. to check some other issues
when I’m back there’s a huge latency…
so what I did:
devices, device setup, to my driver (motu audio asio), but when I want to open the
control pannel it simply…doesn’t work…
please help

Maybe something wrong with you audio device driver? Try reinstalling it?

I have the same issue with a Focusrite. Mine actually crashes Cubase.

You aren’t letting the PC go into sleep or hibernate mode, are you?
