I just installed the 10.0.30 update and now Cubase won’t open. Crashes on startup, just before it scans ARA Services. What can I do ? Can I revert my update ?? Need it to work ASAP. Is a fresh install of 10.0.30 from the download assistant can solve the bug ??

If you have any ARA plug-in installed (Melodyne), make sure you have the up-to-date version of it, please.
attach the crash dump file, please.
You can remove the ARA component, if it crashes in ARA.
I am experiencing similar crash on start-up ever since installing 10.0.30 update through Steinberg Download Assistant. I’m only aware of an OLD version of Melodyne vst which I removed from my VST folder. (I’m on Apple OS 10.14.6)
Where would I find the “ARA component”?
Where do I find the crash dump file?
What other kinds of ARA plugins are there that might cause the crashing?

Hi and welcome,
Right-click to the Cubase.app and select Show Package Contents > Contents > Components > araservice.bundle. Move it to other folder.
macOS Console utility > User Reports folder in it.
