I’m running Cubase Pro 10.0.30 with Melodyne 4.2.2. I really appreciate the new ARA integration. It makes the whole Cubase-Melodyne interaction much nicer. I worked on one song using Melodyne on several tracks and everything went fine, but when I started working on another song, I started experiencing lockups. I believe the difference is that while I was using Melodyne on parts comped from several lanes in both songs, I hadn’t tried to use Melodyne on two event that overlapped until I got to the second song. (Basically I was trying to see which Melodyne-processed event sounded better.) From later reading of the Melodyne documentation, it sounds like this might be a limitation of the current implementation but I wouldn’t have expected it to lock up. Is that the source of the problem? Help… I running Windows 10 Pro 1903 on an i7-4790K with 32 Gb of memory and Cubase is only using around 10 Gb when it locks up.
