Cubase 10.0.40 Update - safe. Experiences so far please.

Hi folks
Normally I update without question, however Im picking up issues on Gearslutz and other channels that the latest update has multiple issues and some people commenting rollback is not easy if at all.

So hoping for some reassurance to wait or proceed.

Hi,

To go back to an earlier Cubase version, you have to use the older update installer (which is not available from the Downloads section of the Steinberg web page). Then you can uninstall Cubase, install from the Full Installer, don’t allow to download the latest update and then install the update, you want to use.

OK thanks. Fortunately I keep the last updates. OK going to back up the rig and attempt the update. Had some PMs from a few 3td party devs who haven’t had issue.
