Cubase 10.0.50 and 10.50.0 crashes

Hi,

I’m using Cubase Pro on my laptop at the moment (Dell 7559, 512Gb SSD, 8Gb RAM, Windows 10, Mackie Onyx Producer USB).

If I use Cubase 9.5 it all works fine, but if I use Cubase 10 I have random crashes, even if I’m only using Steinberg plugins. I installed the demo of 10.5 to see if the problem is fixed, but I have the same issue with 10.5. Reading other posts with people having similar problems and having similar crash dumps I updated the graphics drivers on my machine and that has seemed to help, but it still crashes. Since the crashes are random anyway I can’t even be sure that this really has worked.

I really like 10 and 10.5, and would prefer to use them over 9.5, but it’s a bit frustrating. Cubase doesn’t produce a crashdump when this happens to I’ve used Procdump to dump one.

I’d appreciate any advice, I’ve already ran “sfc” which found nothing.

you just gotta start going thru the process.

1st of all check that your dongle is connected properly and don’t have a bad connection

update all your drivers
update windows

try to identify if you are doing something specific when it crashes
