Is anyone using Cubase 10.5.2 Pro update on Windows 10 64-but Pro 1803 ? (not 1809 or above)
If so, any issues?

No problems, except FLS Slot limitations, thats why !Strongly! recommend update to 19xx - now at 1909 - no problems at all.
Thanks for the reply. I was wondering about that. I’ve never had a problem (have some projects with lots of VIs & plugins)- what happens if you hit the FLS Slot limit? How do you know when you hit it?
If you hit limit, Cubase can’t load more vst & vsti, or if you re-open heavy project, some of vst/vsti wont be loaded.
to check FLS limit, you can use this free specific for cubase vst https://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=250&t=134715

Thanks, I downloaded it - it shows 76 on an empty project (control room on), does that sound right?

Yes, you have free 76 slots for use.
Add new vst/vsti and after check the FLS Checker plugin again, you will se some plugins “eat” more, some less
