Hi,
1st time with 10.5.20. I imported a midi file, generated by Melodyne 5 from a wave file.
The main purpose was to have a file with a good tempo so I can create tracks and play every instrument one after the other. Such a reference, with
good tempo and signature permits me to record small pieces, say 2 bars each. It’s rather easy, no need to learn the entire part of an instrument.
The problem was Cubase adopted the tempo of my midi file but not the signature: 15/16 instead of 4/4.
I opened the Score Editor, Page Mode, then I set the page to have 2 bars per staff, when I clicked OK Cubase crashed.
