Cubase 10.5.30 minor crash (dmp attached)

This happens if I mark/unmark a destination MIDI output for the MIDI clock while the transport is playing (Project Synchronization options).

I attach the dmp file:
Cubase 10.5.30.365 64bit 2021.4.10 23.14.37.387.dmp (786.5 KB)

It is not critical though (Cubase keeps running). It is just annoying because next time Cubase starts in Safe Mode.

By the way is it possible to disable the Safe Mode at the start?

Thank you

Hi,

Reported to Steinberg. Thank you.

But I cannot reproduce it here on my side. What is the MIDI Destination Port, please? Are you sure, there is no MIDI feedback, please?

Thanks much Martin.

I couldn’t reproduce it either for a second time. I was sending MIDI clock to the MIDI OUT or MIDI SOUND ports of Minilogue. I’m not 100% sure of it if there was feedback in a MIDI track but I can’t see how this is related to the MIDI clock settings (I remember certainly getting a crash notification when I checked an output port for the MIDI clock while the transport was on).

On a side note, it would be nice though for the future that those feedback situations don’t make Cubase crash and display instead a more informative warning. In complex projects they are difficult to spot.
