I have updated to OS catalina last week and since that time Cubase crashes every time I try to import an audio file either from files menu or library .
I update Cubase from 10 to 10.5 hopping problem will be solve with the new version but still the same no change.
Any advise to help me ?

Hello! I have the same problem. I hope it will be fixed soon in the update! while I can advise loading audio by dragging and dropping from Explorer
Should be related to Catalina update.
I did the update to Cubase 10.5 on a IMAC working with previous OS high sierra and it’s working fine.
No problem with drag and drop, import from files menu and neither with library.
I have the same problem in Cubase 10.5 but 10.0 works fine for me.
Yes cubase 10.0.50 on catalina works without a glitch! but Thank God audio import is the only bug in 10.5 otherwise it works very stable! We are waiting for the update with the fix for importing audio
