Hi, I’m having an issue with Cubase Pro 10.5 crashing/freezing when I turn my midi controllers on or off. I’m using WIndows 10 Pro with current updates. Anytime I try to turn on or off my Novation SL MK3, Native Instruments A25 or Arturia Beatstep Pro inside of Cubase, it’s causing it to freeze up or crash. Any fix for this or am I doing something wrong?

Could you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode, please?
Hey Martin, sorry for the delay. After some digging around, testing and finally communicating with Native Instruments, it’s not a Cubase issue. Native Instruments keyboards have problems with drivers that’s causing all sorts of issues with other software. No longer using their controller and everything is back to normal.

Unfortunately it’s not for the first time I hear the users have had many many crashes which stopped when they stopped to use NI keyboard.

Solved deleting plugins whitelist file from preferences.
