Hi everyone,
when I’m writing a melody or chords or use an existing midi file in the piano roll and use “match to chord track”, is it possible to have the notes jump to the nearest note that belongs to the chord instead of randomly jump to any chord tone. All the notes randomly jump to chord tones all over the place (a 3rd to an octave higher or lower) or a chunk of the notes would disappear . This also happens when I use Follow Chord Track in the arrange window. I’ve tried all the options ,
chord and scale, voicing, ect…
Is there a way to have the original notes simply jump to the nearest chord tone ?
