Cubase 10.5 no valid license found!

it’s worked fine for years, then this error pops up… “no valid license found” . two options… “ok” or “start license activation”… which basically gets me nowhere…

I’ve just discovered that there is no longer support for this version … anyone on here that can help me with this please? … is it possible I’ve accidently deleted it?.. i did move some files around to free up some disc space a few weeks ago… but it’s worked after..??.

anyway, thanks if there’s any suggestions you might have ( I’m a bit hopeless with techy stuff).

cheers john

Do you have the USB elicenser? Plugged in and lit up? What does elicenser control centre show when opened?

Hi, yes, I’ve got the usb licenser and it’s plugged in and lit up ..

Struggling to get much further… thanks for your help

The elicenser control is not seeing your usb elicenser. Download and install the latest version of elicenser control centre and try unplugging and replugging the usb key or trying on different usb sockets.

The elicenser servers are shut down so trying to run maintenance etc isn’t going to do anything.

There is no USB key on your pictures. Maybe try a different port. It is possible to install elicenser software on another computer and try the same key there too.

I’ll give that a try later.. thanks

must have been a glitch… just powered up, thought I’d just give it a try and voila! All working as normal, I’ll just have to see how it goes. :crossed_fingers: Anyway, thank you all for your help
