Cubase 10.5 pro Upgrade VST missing

I just upgraded Cubase Pro 10 to 10.5. The product is installed, licensed and registered. When I start the product it runs, however at startup I get the following pop up message (See Attached)

VST Sound Library Padshop not found:

/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/Padshop/VST Sound/FCP_SMT_113_Padshop.vstsound

Any ideas?

Is Padshop a 32-bit VST?

I just have to put in the correct path manually (click “locate”).

If you don’t know where it is, use a freeeware tool like “Search Everything” (on Windows) to find the correct location fast.

Yes, I had to use locate as well, and then it worked.

Just click locate and you’ll see it

I just ran into this error after my upgrade to Cubase Pro 10.5. I did a search on my MacBook Pro and I’m not seeing the file anywhere:

VST Sound Library “Padshop” not found:
/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/Padshop/VST Sound/FCP_SMT_113_Padshop.vstsound

Other folks on this thread–you were able to find this file after your upgrade to 10.5?

Never mind. :neutral_face: Initial search with Spotlight said it couldn’t be found. But when I drilled down to the folder. There it was.
