Cubase 10 activation after Download

Hello,
I downloaded Cubase 10 from ‘Steinberg Download Assistant’, (I already have Cubase 9.5).
I was not sent the activation code and it’s not in ‘My Steinberg’ account either.

Side bar:
Can I update 9.5 to 10 rather than installing an entire new Cubase?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

If your licence is Cubase 9.5, you cannot run Cubase 10 with this licence.

You can only update to the latest/current Cubase version only. It’s Cubase 12 at this moment.

That means, you cannot purchase Cubase 10 at this moment. Only Cubase 12.

But if you don’t have a Cubase 10 license on a USB-eLicenser (or maybe a Soft-eLicenser, since you don’t mention the actual version) you can’t use it.

Anyone can download whatever he wants. Without the proper license, however, it is useless.

I downloaded it and was looking for the licence to purchase.
