My Cubase 10.0.5 does not load Altiverb 7, instead my Cubase 9.5.2 if it does, does anyone know why? Are there any solutions?
The Cubase 10.0.5 search engine did not find the Altiverb plugin. But it has done the Cubase 9.5.2
There must have been changed in the 10.0.5 that broke this, right?

If I remember right, there is an issue between PACE/iLok and Altiverb 7. As far as I remember, PACE changed its software, to make it completely compatible with Windows 10. Then all plug-ins manufacturers whose are using iLok would need to update their software to follow this new patch. As far as I know, this didn’t happen with Altiverb 7.
Therefore the only one way is to start Cubase in Windows 8 compatibility mode.
had a similar issue. opening a project from C9.5 that contains Altiverb crashes C10.5. however. when i remove Altiverb in the C9.5 version and re-save, then it opens on C10.5 and i can then open a new FX channel with Altiverb working. workaround…
