Cubase 10 pro struggling

Ive just recently started having problem using my Cubase 10 pro. My projects are maxing out my everything! even when i increase the the buffer size to 1024 (maxed out) my project/sample rate is set at 44.1.

My PC setup is:
Intel(R) Core™ i5-9600K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz
32.0 GB RAM.
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

This has only just recently started happening out of the blue. Ive never had this problem untill now.
No settings have been altered or changed.
Its frustrating as i cant get projects completed.

Any advice would be great.

SOLVED!

In Studio setup i activated MULTI PROCESSING/ASIO GUARD and clicked ASIO GUARD LEVEL “HIGH” and everything seems to be running smoother.

Weird! i dont remember altering those options.
