so everytime I double click my cubase 10 icon I get a dialog that says “no valid license found” … then I can cancel or start activation - I press cancel then double click the cubase 10 icon again and cubase starts just fine.

Make sure your USB-eLicenser is connected properly (try to unplug it and plug it back). Make sure the USB-eLicenser is not broken.
wow, I touched the dongle with my finger moving it left. working 100% again
