Sitrep:
PC formatted today after OS SSD installed.
Cubase 11.0.0 original full udated and installed TODAY.
Win 10 Home (vers: 20H2) original full updated TODAY.
eLicenser 6.12.5.1279 full updated TODAY.
No audio card installed yet, i installed Steinberg Generic ASIO drivers and i have usual Realtek Audio Card.
Problem starting Cubase 11, on “Inizialize Audio Alignement” it freeze and after about 5 min it crashes.
I just ran Cubase 11 fine only the first time, now i have this freezing problem that can’t not open Cubase.
I don’t have any external plugin installed yet, and i have same problem if i select “bypass all third-part plugins”.
Also if i select “no personal setting”.
Do you have some suggestions about it? What could it be?
I am having the same issue. Recently bought (Xmas) new PC (from Inta Audio) with upgrade from 10.5 to 11 on Windows 10 (home edition) also. When opening Cubase, Cubase will pop up “audio alignment” error intermittently. Somtimes resolved with one click or constant clicks. Inta Audio assumed it was to update elicenser and that has been done and been reinstalled by them again
I have also recently encountered cubase to shut instantly when using the sampler. Only the other day. Then to top it off, Native Instruments interfaces are small visually and when re-sized, they glitch visually and waveforms aren’t seen to be moving nor parameters when your moving them.
Last but not least. A purchased Saturation knob from Softube glitches cubase heavily with just either one channel of midi/ audio and that single fx. Windows GPU maxes out reaching 100% and becomes difficult to remove the fx from insert.
