Hello, I bought 2 days ago the new RME Firface UFX3. I have Cubase 11 and Adobe Auditon. I have MacBook pro with Tahoe 26.2. Adobe Audition seems to work well with all in/outputs as it doesn`t use Asio but Cubase is totally silent and it looks like the problem is with the Asio driver!
I checked all settings and I am helpless cause it looks like there isn`t more possibilities to change settings.
(If i choose from Cubase studio setup the Fireface UFX3 then there isn`t any more possibilities to change everything, all changes are inactive, also all inputs/outputs are inactive and for example cant switch on Direct Monitoring (its inactive), also cant choose the Asio MADiface as its recommended in manual!)
I have no more ideas what to do with it.

Mac has no ASIO driver and I believe direct monitoring only works with Steinberg interfaces on Mac.
It should work with Core Audio on Mac.
Show us exactly what you mean by there isn’t more possibilities to change settings….screencaps will help.
Hello! Thank you Grim! Actually I was chatting 2 days about this problem in RME forum and they asked me to send screenshots and I did but any change with settings didn´t help at all and then I downloaded the Cubase pro 15 demo and its just works! So the problem is really with Cubase 11 between RME Fireface 3 cause Cubase 11 is still totally silent, no lights in mixer when I push play button (tried almost everything) and it starts to work when I change to Built-in audio!
Here are some screenshots what I shared:
This is macbookpro with Tahoe and this cubase 11 sends problem with asio messages!
Or the problem is maybe between Cubase 11 with Tahoe.
There was lots of development in the MacOs history since Cubase 11 was released!
Try to disconnect all the wires and then restart your Mac and then reconnect them. It might help you. What cable are you using power or data?
Possibly? It’s certainly not officially supported but often the older versions do still work OK.
It could be something something blocking the driver or locking it to a specific sample rate that doesn’t match what you set in Cubase….I see you use 96k. Maybe try 48 or 44.1k and check if increasing buffer makes any difference. And there is certainly no need to use 16bit nowadays, set it to 24bit.
I can’t see the microphone icon in your menu bar…. you need to allow cubase to access you microphone in the security settings to get any sound in or out of Cubase.
It is possible that Cubase 11 isn’t supported on Tahoe.

Most likely this. C11 was 2020/2021, Apple caused me a lot of headaches in the 2021-2025 timeframe, hence one reason I stopped using them for main DAW stuff. Not trying to persuade you to switch of course. But I wouldn’t be surprised AT ALL if Cubase 11 and Tahoe don’t mix well. I could be wrong though. I suggest you download the demo for Cubase 15 and see if that works.
EDIT: Oh, and that was the version where Steinberg was working out Rosetta stuff, too, right? Yeah, problems indeed. Looking at the changelog, yeah, looks like Rosetta stuff came in 11.0.20… and then actual native Apple Silicon was Cubase 12 I believe.
Okay, if you’re on Tahoe, I hate to say it, but time to move on from C11. You are asking for headaches. Blame Apple.
