Cubase 11 dropping Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 driver after loading

Hello folks,
I just bought a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 audio interface and when I load Cubase 11 or 10.5 the software disables the Focusrite driver and I have to reboot. It runs outside of Cubase OK. I get the msg "Cannot open the Focurite USb driver error 0x54f " and the USB icon disappears on the 18i8.
Not sure what the problem is and I cannot find this error in the forum search.

Have you been able to get it to work? Im interested in buying one. I use CB 11 Pro on a PC Windows 10
