Cubase 11 installation target folder

Hi all,

I’ve installed Cubase in MacOS in the target folder by default:
/Users/myuser/Downloads/Steinberg

However, after the installation, I see there are still .dmg files on that folder that are occupying space in my hard drive.

Can I just simply move the /Users/myuser/Downloads/Steinberg folder to the Bin? It will have any impact on my Cubase installation?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

This is not installation target folder, this is download target folder.

On Mac, Cubase is installed to the Applications folder, of course.

Yes, you can delete this folder, if you don’t need to keep the installer. Once you would download an update, the folder would be created again by the Steinberg Download Assistant.
