Cubase 11 LE is not recognising my Focusrite ASIO driver

Hi

Have just installed Cubase 11 LE on a new laptop and have tried to download the ASIO driver for my Scarlett 2i2 2nd generation (this is a driver-only download as this generation predates the Focusrite Control software). I’ve followed the installation instructions for the driver and installation was apparently successful, but in Cubase Studio Setup/Audio System, this driver is still not appearing on the dropdown menu - only generic low-latency and Steinberg built in ASIOs are displayed.

Try to restart Cubase, please.

If this doesn’t help, please try to reinstall the driver as administrator.

Thanks, I’ve tried both but neither of these have resolved the issue, even after restarting the computer.

Have also tried with and without the Focusrite hardware connected. The computer itself picks up the hardware as an audio device as soon as it’s plugged in and the driver also is being picked up by Audacity.
