Cubase 11 not keeping audio files in correct folder

My procedure when starting a new song Is to have a folder named New Temporary, then when I have something that I think is worth while I use Backup Project functions and create a new folder with the project’s name and work from there… however I’m noticing when I add new audio loops to the project from the media browser it still places them back in the old New Temporary folder.
Any suggestions welcome. Ty

Hi,

I cannot reproduce this.

Are you talking about Audio Tracks or Sampler Track, please?

Hi Martin,
I think I might have figured it out. It asks whether I wish to keep current project active . Pilot error I think.
I’ll keep you posted.

One thing. It used to have a pop up when adding audio loops to the project which would ask " do I wish to add these audio loops to the project folder"
It no longer asks…how can I get that pop up window back?

Hi,

Preferences > Editing > Audio > On Import Audio File, set the option to Open Options Dialog.
