Cubase 11 - Novation Launchkey to VST instruments

Guys,
I’m having trouble with any VST instrument being controlled by my LaunchKey
I have created a VST Instrument with it set to
Input - All midi inputs
Output - PolySix VST
Ch 1

I have midi info coming in on the transport bar, but no key activation

Here’s a video of the setup.

Hi and welcome on the forum,

Make sure LaunchKey is enabled in the Studio > Studio Setup > MIDI Ports.

Double-check Preferences > MIDI > MIDI Filter. Make sure the MIDI data are not filtered out.

Enable either recording or monitoring on the instrument track.

Hi,

By default, the Record is enabled, once you select any track, thanks to the Preferences > Editing > Project & MixConsole > Enable Record on Selected MIDI Track option, which is enabled, by default.
