Cubase 11 Pro Crashed unexpectedly

I’ve been trying to play my music and the same kind of crash with the same error message again.

  1. Add an audio track
  2. Hit Play and Pause back and forth
    → Result = crash

I’m not much skilled in reading crash dumps, but it seems to implicate Kontakt. Perhaps try the same test but but de-activate third party plug ins ( in Safe Mode) and see if the fault replicates?

But that could not have been an empty project, since Kontakt was intantiated

Ah my bad, it’s old file transferring from my old laptop. The folder was created from my previous laptop.

I just copy steps from policies because I’m too lazy to following every regulations in order to not get flagged all the time.

What does this mean?

It means I went to read the forum policy how to post the crash report without getting flagged and copy the steps of problem in the example rather than write what happen as the actual problem isnt that different.

But yes, it just crash as I keep playing and writing into vst midi.

The work file was created in my old computer before this one.

I got my new computer, which is this one. And the crashing start happens here.

Still doing it. Crashing while playing.
To be honest, I have alot of Kontakt VST on from Cinestrings. Still crashing spectacularly while playing the track at random spot.

The crash log says Kontakt is the cause of the crash.

Seems like many people are having the same problem on Kontakt forum as well. The only person who got through to the solution was uninstalling every vst from kontakt and reinstall again.

Though some others don’t have the same luck. Will try that method.

But it’s definitely between Kontakt and Cubase.

Cubase crashes for me everyday buddy. Get used to it haha!

The CPU stress causes cubase to crash. Like for real. When I start a fresh project, it never crashes. When working on a huge one, crashes almost 5 times a sessions.

Yah, I have lots of vst on right now. When I freeze most of them, it doesnt’ crash.
