Cubase 11 Pro Crashes When Starting Projects that Contain ADPTR Metric AB Plugin

Almost every time I try to open a project that has ADPTR Metric AB plugin on it (whether enabled or disabled at the time of opening) - it crashes on startup. If I open it again (after the crash) sometimes it will immediately crash again with the same error. Usually on the 2nd or 3rd try, it will open perfectly fine and there is no issues with the project itself, but it does get old.

Any idea why this happens or how to fix it?

Could you share the crash/dmp file, please?

Most probably the crash will be in the plug-in. Make sure, you have the latest update installed, please.

Martin,

I don’t mind sharing the crash file…is there nothing in there from a privacy standpoint that I should be worried about? Mac Address, etc?

I’m not aware of anything, you should be worried about.

Mac: macOS Console utility > User Reports folder or Crash Reports in macOS 10.15 (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).
Win: Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps

The crash is clearly in the com.adptr.MetricAB plug-in.

Get in contact with the plug-in vendor, please.
