Cubase 11 Pro doesn't detect my Scarlett 2i2 (audio interface)

Hi everyone,

I am a new Cubase user and just installed Cubase 11 Pro. I am having trouble getting my Scarlett 2i2 to work with Cubase 11 pro. I have just installed the latest driver (Focusrite Control I believe) for the Scarlett 2i2 and for a brief period it did ask which Audio Driver to configure when I opened Cubase for the first time. The two choices that did pop up were Focusrite Thunderbolt ASIO and Focusrite USB ASIO, but after choosing Focusrite USB ASIO I got an error saying that the USB wasn’t plugged it, when it absolutely was. So I just chose ASIO4ALL and went to the menu Studio > Studio Setup > and tried to pick Focusrite from the devices but it didn’t show up. I’m not sure why this is the case. Could someone here please help me out? Thanks!

The Focusrite USB ASIO driver is definitely the one to use. I’d try again, with a different USB port if possible.

Thank you. I restarted my computer and that seemed to do the trick.
