Hi all, I’m having lag issues going on even in blank projects, but my computer specs are way more powerful than needed in order to run cubase.
I’ve had this problem also on my old pc but I thought the problem was due to low hardware specs.
Now with my new set up it should have been gone but it isn’t.
I think it is important to stress the fact that it is not a problem of latency, but of sudden lags that happen even when the project is empty (just running the metronome). And this makes recording impossible due to time instability.
Any help?

OS: Windows 11 Pro
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900x
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060
MB: asus TUF-Gaming B550M plus wifi
RAM: 2x16GB crucial ballistix 3200MHz
Power unit: BeQuiet 700W
SSD: Sabrent Rocket 1TB
Audio Interface: M-Audio M-Track 2x2 (which is the only thing that I didn’t change)
DAW: Cubase 11 Pro
