Cubase 11 shuts down randomly

Hey guys,

Lately, every time I leave my desktop for a few hours with a project open in Cubase, when I come back to the computer I see Cubase was shut down.

Why does it happen and how to avoid it?

Attach the dmp files, please.

Thanks for the reply Martin,
You mind elaborating a bit about what these file are, and where can I find them?

Are you on Mac or Windows, please?

Hi, on Windows.
btw, is there a way to receive push notifications when a reply to my Topic has been made?

The DMP files are available in the Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps/ folder then.

I have only 4 files in this folder and the most recent is from more than 2 month ago - is it relevent?
The crashes occured multiple times over the last couple of weeks, in a way that I’d leave a project open on my PC, then leave for a few hours and when I get beck Cubase was closed.

If I remember right, 11.0.30 is not the latest update. Do you have the latest update installed now, please?

Awesome, I’m now downloading the newest 11 version.
I’ll leave another comment in case the issue goes on.
Thanks Martin!

Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please? Or you can try to backup and delete Cubase preferences folder.

Cubase Preferences folders are:
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X
Win: %appData% Steinberg/Cubase X_64

This might also solve some crashes.
