Lately, every time I leave my desktop for a few hours with a project open in Cubase, when I come back to the computer I see Cubase was shut down.
Why does it happen and how to avoid it?

The DMP files are available in the Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps/ folder then.
I have only 4 files in this folder and the most recent is from more than 2 month ago - is it relevent?
The crashes occured multiple times over the last couple of weeks, in a way that I’d leave a project open on my PC, then leave for a few hours and when I get beck Cubase was closed.

If I remember right, 11.0.30 is not the latest update. Do you have the latest update installed now, please?

Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please? Or you can try to backup and delete Cubase preferences folder.
Cubase Preferences folders are:
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X
Win: %appData% Steinberg/Cubase X_64
This might also solve some crashes.
