Selecting different tool types only momentarily changes the mouse pointer icon, which then snaps back to the default arrow, this is quite confusing not having visual representation of the tool type.

Same behaviour here. On Windows 10.
Definitely not seeing this.
Please provide a sequence of steps so others can actually reproduce.

I feel that there is something weird with the mouse pointer ever since the combined selection tool was introduced. Most of the time it works and then sometimes it seems to get stuck in some odd state, but it is really difficult to come up with a reproducible scenario. /Petter
