I’m getting some serious cpu spikes on very stripped down sessions with 12.0.51.

I tried to revert back to an older version, but I can’t seem to access any older versions in the download assistant. Is it even possible to revert?

yes - look at the Steinberg support website - it has a ‘downloads’ section.

I updated from 12.0.50 to 12.0.51.
Now my MIDI keyboard (Novation Launchkey 49) doesn’t work properly anymore.
When I touch the keys “Shift”, “<”, “>” then I become an error message.
In Cubase 12.0.50 everything was allright.
I think the automatic recognition of the Novation Launchkey in Cubase doesn`t work anymore…

Me too.
My skript for the PreSonus Faderport doesn’t work with Cubase 12.0.51 .
In Cubase 12.0.50 also evrything was allright.

Do I need to uninstall Cubase first?

We have just released a new update that fixes the MIDI Remote issues of the 12.0.51.
