Activating and deactivating Steinberg Licensing licenses

Hi again everyone, I had a windows pc with Cubase 11 working perfectly with the usb dongle for years. I decide to buy Cubase 12 so I can also run it on my Mac at home. I haven’t installed 12 yet, but now at my studio, still running 11, I’m getting “No licence found. Please switch to activation manager” when I try to run Halion Sonic SE or Groove Agent Se 3. Activation Manager does nothing for me. It just shows Cubase 12 not activated. I wasn’t going to install 12 on this computer yet. Help?

No valid licenses found (WaveLab 11.1 and eLicenser) [SOLVED]

Hi everyone, Since the update of Steinberg Activation Manager yesterday Wavelab won’t start. I always have this warning panel “No valid licenses found”. I’ve this issue with a license present on my dongle, not with the internet activation. I’ve Nuendo 11 on this dongle and no problem to start. I can see my license of wavelab 11 in eLicenser … i’ve updated the eLicenser license database but still have the same problem. I’ve tried the new WL11.1.20 it still won’t start. If anyone have a sugesti…

there is a bug in the latest version of the Steinberg Application Manager - this means that it can’t see the the licenses that are available on the dongle.

As a workaround until (or if?) steinberg fix it you need to ENABLE the cubase 12 activation in the Steinberg Application Manager. You DO NOT need to install cubase 12 just enable the licence.
