hello,
Is it impossible to upgrade from Cubase 12 Artist to Cubase 15 Elements, or does it have to be same like only Aritst to Artist and higher or can it be donwgraded as well, in my case Cubase 12 Artist to 15 Elements?
If yes, then i cant redeem the code on Downlaod assistant.
Yes, it is impossible. You can only upgrade from Artist 12 to Artist 15. If you want Elements 15, you’ll have to buy a full Elements 15 license.
You also can’t downgrade licenses either.
I don’t think any of those features were available before the switch to the new licensing model or after. The closest you can do is run lower tiers of Cubase than your license but that’s not persistent across runs nor is it a downgrade. It’s just there for compatibility and things like that.
