Whenever I start Cubase 12, my Input Latency jumps to 1054 ms of delay and basically renders any input unplayable until I manually change the Audio Buffer level to whatever (It can be the exact same value), then it works as expected.
Has anyone encountered this before and/or knows how to fix it?
I am running Cubase 12.0.7 on Mac OS Sonoma 14.1, Macbook Pro M1 16GB.
My audio buffer settings are set to 256.
This same bug occurred on both Mac OS Monterey and the latest Sonoma update, so it is not really system version specific. So far I’ve tried trashing the preferences which solved the issue, however, after about a week of regular use the problem returned once again.
Maybe anyone knows the exact preference I need to trash in order to reset the audio buffer logic? I’d rather not trash all my preferences again…
