On startup I got stuck on Initializing: Video Player, then removed that and then something else, and now stuck on Initializing: Chord Pads… I’m on windows 10 and have been running Cubase without issues before. Just too many problems right now with activating, and all the strange error messages, and now not being able to get it up and running. What to do?

The text shown in the startup screen is not really an indicator of the cause of the freeze.
Yes, it used to stop at “chord pads” but I installed ski remote and now it stops there.
