Hi,
Could you please attach the crash/ips file?
Hi
Where can I find the crash/ips file on Mac
Thanks
Hi,
Mac: macOS Console utility > Crash Reports (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).
Win: %userprofile%/Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps
Hi Martin, I think the crash report it is showing is from Hindenburg Pro as I tested it last, none the less I went ahead and downloaded WaveLab and was able arrange, edit, cut, filter and export the final file. though it took almost 1 hour it worked. I also tried it in Fairlight and it took 10 min only.
Unfortunately I have invested in Cubase Pro 12 and Cubasis 3.5.
These are the issues I have identified.
For audio book, both don’t have an analysis tool that automatically confirms the final output to set audiobook standards such as audible (RMS min -23, max -18, peak under -3 and noise floor -60)
For radio and docu needs it should have the ability to apply effects on clip basis such as eq, comp, room ambiance match with reverb including speed and pitch changes so that dialogue can be treated clip by clip bases not track by track bases.
Wavelab does have that ability but lacks other things. Anyway, the above two utility/ability would make it almost perfect for modern radio drama, Documentary and podcast production needs.
Wavelab is close and I have applied (opened a ticket) for refund or migration/upgrade to Wavelab from Cubase 12 Pro as I have only recently purchased it. I don’t want to spend extra 20 thousand rupees on wavelab so waiting for the reply from the support team.
