Cubase 12 halion has unending sustain on half of the patches

Hello and thank you for any suggestions you may have.

Every time I bring up a new halion sound any note I play never ends. on pads and arpeggios and FX. I’ve looked for a sustain pedal button but to no avail. Any idea why this is happenings? Mac OS 12.3.1 Cubase 12

Try to use the MIDI Monitor MIDI Insert to double-check the MIDI Note Off (or MIDI Note On with Velocity 0) has been sent out, please. You can also try to increase your Audio Device’s Buffer Size.

Thank you Martin. After trying your suggestions, I narrowed it down to. feedback loop. I unchecked a midi input and that solved it. Rolling along much better now. After 25 years of protools I needed a change and decided on cubase. big learning curve.
