Is there a preference setting for working in the Key Editor to “locate when clicked in empty space” like there is for the main project window? I know the SHIFT+OPTION trick, but its really tedious to always be reaching for the computer keyboard all the time doing a lot of midi editing, or having to click up in the “Global Tracks window” up top of the Key Editor… So many times I accidentally click on the Tempo track and mess that up, having to hit UNDO.

Yes this definitely will be great. Because of this limitation I use “edit in place” which of course is limited compare to the full editor.
This is a no brainer for me. It should be an option!
