The still installed Cubase 11 does recognize the interface, a Steinberg UR28m, fine.
Cubase 12 did so, too but for whatever reason now insists on the Low Latency Generic Driver (although I have already uninstalled this and rebooted).
How can I get the interface back to work?

Change your ASIO driver in the Studio Setup window:
I already tried that but there is no other device to select.
I have also uninstalled and re-installed the Yamaha ASIO driver (but not the tools) which didn’t make a difference.
Un-install Cubase 12, re-install, done.
There should be an easier way, though.
