Cubase 12 PRO - Crashes after adding to Sample control

I had the same problem on Cubase 11.Artist, now I have the same problem on 12. PRO, the program crashes right away when i inster nay audio in the Sample Control or try to create a sample…I don’t think reinstalling will fix it because I had the same problem on 2 diffrenet version :confused:
HELP PLZ

Could you please attach the *.crash/DMP file?

Mac: macOS Console utility > User Reports folder or Crash Reports in macOS 10.15 (or ~user/Library/Logs/Diagnostic Reports).
Win: Documents/Steinberg/Crash Dumps

I am also just now having this problem. Cubase 12 Pro has been rather problematic for me thus far. Would love to hear a fix for this.

EDIT: I realized my error was to accidentally include the components folder in my VST plugin directories. If “Sample Track” is coming up in your VST plugin manager, then it will crash whenever it attempts to run an instance. Make sure that no component folders from Cubase 12 or older versions are included in your plugin directories. This solved my problem.
