Cubase 12 pro started using generic ASIO driver with UR12 interface

I recently got a new UR12 interface to use with Cubase 12 Pro. I installed the steinberg yamaha usb driver and it all worked as you would expect with the steinberg ASIO driver until today. For some reason, all I can see anymore is a generic ASIO driver. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the steinberg driver 2.1.8 multiple times. The driver does install and I can open the control panel outside of Cubase. But Cubase is not giving me steinberg ASIO anymore. See attached pic - all it shows is the generic ASIO though it does see the UR12. Any ideas?

Windows 11 24H2 on HP Elitebook with 64gig ram and AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 7840U which has worked great with Cubase 12.0.70 Build 464.

So you cannot select the UR driver in the drop down menu under “audio system”?

That’s correct. It’s no longer an option there.

Whereas, here is my desktop computer with it working correctly with a UR22 MkII device.

I reinstalled Cubase with the download manager and it seems to have fixed it!
