Cubase 12 quitted unexpectedly. (Macbook pro 13 2020 intel)

hey there, I recently upgraded my cubase 9 (ed) to version pro 12 to sort some compatibility problems.
after downloading some of the objects from cubase download assistant, I tried opening cubase and every time when it tries to initialize Halion Sonic SE it crush!

do anyone know what to do ?
please tell me I didn’t throw my money to the can…

update:
I removed HALion Sonic SE.vst3 from Library/Application Support/ Steinberg / Components
now cubase is able to boot up, but I do want to be able to use HALion Sonic SE
