Hi, I have a big template with VEP instance loaded with full orchestra. Since Cubase 13/14 it still “works” but behaves a bit differently.
At start up the loading of VEP is much slower, when everything seems done, you have to wait another 15 seconds before Cubase responds to mouse/key inputs, without any feedback of loading, but I understand it’s VEP Cubase is waiting for.
Also every time I start from a saved project, it starts in a failsafe mode screen (when closing down I always do it the correct way and get no warning of crashing or anything). The dump-file seems to look the same all the time and it seems to have something do do with VEP. As it’s timing out before VEP is ready or something… just guessing (I am a coder myself 
).
I’m not sure, but it might be I used the x64 variant of VEP before and now I’m using the vst3 variant. And for information the VE Server is running on my local machine. What can this silent crashing mean?
