Cubase 13 crashes and bugs galore

I’m not usually a complainer, and I’m sure you don’t want to hear negative feedback, but since updating to Cubase 13, I haven’t had a session that didn’t crash or have a strange bug.
The inserts and sends are just disappearing from the mixer, seemingly at random. Several graphical glitches and I’ve had to ctrl/alt/delete out of several sessions due to freezes / crashes. (I’ve uploaded reports to Steinberg).
I’m on a fairly standard Windows 11 PC using a Steinberg UR816C interface. Cubase 12 ran fine on the same setup. I’m going to have to roll back; it’s pretty unusable for me at the moment.
I’ve never really had a problem updating my cubase before, I’ve been doing it without issue since the Cubase 5 days.

Attach the *.dmp file(s), please.

Do you mean visually, or you don’t hear the effect anymore? Can you see the Insert effect in the Project’s Window Channel or not?

Thanks Martin,

The configuration of the mixer visually changed from having inserts slots etc displayed to suddenly not. Here’s the latest crash dump.

Hi,

The crash is in the UR-C Extension.

Make sure, you have the latet TOOLS and UR-C driver installed, please.

I think I need to do the same. Can you tell me where to download and install Tools and UR-C? mine shutters a lot

Thank you. I guess my issue so far is different. In Cubase 12 Pro, I had no issue playing back or recording unless I used a ton of pluggins. I just bought the 13 Pro today and I cant play a song in a project without it shuttering. It seems to be much heavier on the CPU than Cubase 12 pro. is there a simple fix for this?

Increase the Buffer Size of your Audio Device, please.

I tried that just now and its no better. Instead of hearing the shuttering, it just stops playing for a few seconds and then plays a few seconds and then stops again over and over.

I have problem with CB 13. When add new audio track CB Crash. Install latest driver UR22c and still have problem. Win 11.
